Energy efficiency studies

Our office offers sustainable Energy Saving solutions that reduce energy costs by rational use of available resources. Our knowledge and experience allow us to design and implement the appropriate strategy for each project, in order to achieve the best possible performance. Our goal is to offer energy optimization services and innovative high-efficiency technical solutions, in order to reduce energy consumption and costs at the same time.

The energy upgrade of a building (apartment building, detached house or apartment) is a series of selected interventions, aimed at reducing the energy needs of the building for heating and cooling, while achieving the thermal comfort of users. These surgeries can be:

1. Thermal insulation of building shell
2. Replacement of frames with new thermal insulation frames and energy glazing.
3. Upgrading of thermal systems (boiler & burner replacement, piping insulation, radiator replacement)
4. Passive solar systems
5. Gas installation.
6. Heating - cooling - hot water installations and electrical appliances
7. Lighting Systems (LED-automation)

The stages of an energy upgrade are as follows:

• Capture of geometric characteristics, evaluation of existing thermal insulation or not, orientation, etc. of a building that is to be upgraded in energy.
• Energy study of the building based on KENAK (Energy Efficiency Regulation of Buildings).
• Presentation of the required energy interventions according to the energy study.
• Costing of energy interventions
• Implementation of energy upgrade
• Issuance of energy certificate for the building.

Energy Certificates

The Energy Performance Certificate  or  Energy Certificate is a document (valid for ten years) which contains all the necessary characteristics that determine the energy consumption of a property while at the same time classifying it into one of the energy categories A + to H. The energy certificate accompanies proposals for interventions to reduce energy consumption and improve the energy efficiency of the property. From now on, it must accompany each property and constitute its energy identity.

According to Law 3661/2008, as amended and in force, from 1/1/2011 the energy certificate is necessary for all properties (homes, offices, shops) that are purchased or rented and have an area of more than 50 sq.m.

In each property lease, the protocol number of the energy performance certificate (EPC) must be indicated on the lease.

Notaries are required to mention it and attach it to the purchase agreements.

The Energy Certificate is issued by a private engineer, who is included in the Register of Energy Inspectors of YPEKA.

The supporting documents required by the owner are:

• Owner Details: Tax Identification Number, Tax Office
• National Cadastral Code Number (KAEK) or Declaration and cadastral ownership code number for areas that have been included in the Land Registry
• Boiler maintenance sheet
• Building Permit for buildings constructed since 1983.
• Property Contract
• Property plan & Topographic diagram
• Copy of the approved thermal insulation study
• Heating Millimeters Table or approved heating study
• Arbitrary or semi-outdoor proof of settlement.

In case you do not have the plans of your property, we undertake to capture your property or to obtain the necessary copies from the competent urban planning service.

Subsidized energy upgrade program "Saving at Home"

It is a co-financed program that provides incentives to citizens to improve the energy efficiency of their home, saving money and energy and increasing its value. Our office offers comprehensive consulting services to assist you both in the process of joining the Home Savings Program and in selecting those interventions that work best for your home. Our entire fee is funded by the Home Savings Program.

The Program has been completed but its resumption is expected soon on even more favorable terms.

Geothermal studies

Geothermal systems take advantage of the constant temperature that exists on the ground, completely replacing the use of oil or other fuel. Compared to traditional fuels, Cooling and Heating a building using a Geothermal System is up to 75% cheaper (ie, operating at an annual cost of less than half the corresponding oil cost and using only one appliance for heating and cooling) .

Renewable Energy Studies

Our company provides design, installation and maintenance services for photovoltaic systems for electricity production and solar thermal systems for hot water production.

We undertake:

• Economic and technical study of RES systems installations
• Installation of RES systems according to the specifications of the technical study.
