The single-family house in Tripoli underwent an extraordinary renovation and energy upgrade program, known as the 'Save - Autonomy' program. This program aimed to reduce the building's energy consumption and improve its energy efficiency. The main measures implemented include:
Frame Replacement: The old frames were replaced with modern, energy-efficient frames. This measure improved the thermal insulation of the building and resulted in a reduction in energy consumption.
External Thermal Insulation: Thermal insulation was applied to the external walls of the building. This process helped to retain heat inside the home space, reducing energy loss and heating consumption.
Roof Thermal Insulation: The roof was thermally insulated, helping to prevent heat loss from the roof of the building.
Air conditioners: Modern air conditioning systems were installed, which are energy efficient and allow precise control of the temperature inside the building.
Automatic Heating Control Devices: Automatic heating control systems were installed, allowing efficient temperature regulation and energy saving.
Awnings: Awnings were installed in parts of the building, which help reduce the heat load from the sun during the summer months.
Solar: A solar water heater was installed to heat the water, with the aim of reducing energy consumption.
Gas Installation: A gas system was installed to heat the space and produce hot water.
With these measures, the energy efficiency of the detached house was significantly improved, with an energy saving amounting to 93%. This renovation and energy upgrade program contributed to reducing energy consumption and the environmental burden, while offering increased comfort and quality of life to residents.
